We are thrilled to see that a number of the higher education clients ITC Concepts have worked with over the years have been named as top performing universities by the Government Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) last week.
The TEF rates the UK’s top universities via various metrics established in order to measure their performance. The universities are then given a Gold, Silver or Bronze status depending on how well they perform in each area of measurement.
The TEF measures teaching excellence in three ways: by the quality of teaching; by the learning environments of institutions; and the overall student outcomes.
Crucially, the ‘learning environment’ metric informs everything we do at ITC Concepts. Working with clients in the HE sector is always a fulfilling undertaking, because our fit out and refurbishment projects are indeed central to the creation of positive and productive learning environments.
Academic institutions often have specialised needs and requirements, and over the years we’ve fine-tuned our expertise in this field to find the best possible solutions to meet our clients budgets, whilst maintaining the highest of quality and always achieving completion for new term start dates.
This is why we we’re so proud to see many of our clients performing brilliantly on the TEF tables, including the Gold-rated University of Surrey and the Silver-rated UCL, LSBU and University of the Arts London. The importance of your surroundings in a teaching environment is so often overlooked, but the TEF proves that it is a crucial factor in creating the optimum conditions for academic excellence.
We’d like to congratulate all of our clients who have been honoured in this list.
